Washburne Photography (1975-1997)

I was 15 when I shot my first wedding - my father had to drive me there because I didn't even have a drivers license yet. From there I kept getting more and more requests to shoot parties, sporting events and, more weddings. It blossomed into a business that I creatively called Washburne Photography. I moved my company from Princeton, IN to Indianapolis in 1982. For five years I taught photography seminars for Dow Chemical. In 1997 I decided that I had shot enough pictures for pay and decided to return to amature status. I have photographed over 400 weddings, over 175 parties, and eleven different countries.
